How can I find an AD that has the new explorer?

I called the usual suspects and they said "we can't get them until we sell out of the older model."

I have seen some "incoming" threads so clearly they are out there.

How do I get my hands on one, and should I expect to pay MSRP?

Thanks in advance

Guess we need to talk everyone into the old one...

I think MSRP is pretty reasonable. It's not as popular as a DaytonaC, but I know my AD has a few people on the waiting list.

Go to the Rolex website, get a list of all the AD's, and start calling. Tell them you are ready to buy immediately. It will be time consuming. Expect to pay full MSRP on a new model in high demand.

I walked into the smallest AD in my province (maybe even my country) and not only did they have one, they also had all the Basel releases except the Daytonas. I was blown away. They are out there, you just gotta keep looking.

Oh and the explorer was gorgeous. Blows the old 21470 out of the water. I never gave the old version a second glance, but this one won me over. My girlfriend liked it so much she swears she will buy it for me one dAy lol.
