First gold Rolex
It's my 30th bday next year and I'm going to buy myself my first gold Rolex for it, I've narrowed it down to 3 watches but I can't seem to like one better than the other!
My choices are -skydweller with silver dial -Daytona with white dial -daydate with chocolate dial I've currently got a datejust steel and white gold with black dial with Roman numerals which is my first and only Rolex. I know it's only myself that can make my mind up on which one to get but I'd like to hear other people's opinions and there own pics would be great too! |

Which color gold are you seeking? You've tossed out a few variations.

I'll vote for the SKD with silver dial. That way if you don't like it, you can flip it for one of the others without losing money.

I vote PM Daytona for your 1st PM Rolex - great sporty watch. Some Daytona versions can be challenging to quickly and easily read the dials. I passed on a WG black dial for that reason. Panda dials improve the legibility IMO. Good luck, you can't make a bad choice given the alternatives.

I'd go DD but you should go try them on and get a feel for them all.

A DD is too close to the DJ. Try a Daytona YG with white dial.

Now, go with WG Daytona for the Sporty but still Classy enough ! Many catchy dials offering in PM Daytona line |

I have been through a few sky dwellers, and I still think I kind of want one back.
My original reasons for purchasing were the fact that they seemed younger to me than the DD, and I was attracted to the large size. Ultimately, I ended up selling them and the DD40 won me over. Who knows though, I still look at that RG chocolate......

I've tried many AP ROO, Hublots but the SKy-Dweller really is a big watch and I wouldn't imagine I could wear that for an extended period and I do like large watches.
