In Paris, not many sports model available

Visited 4 different Rolex boutiques in Paris so far and none of the sports models that I'm looking for.

1) ceramic daytona (LOL, I know)
2) BLNR
3) Hulk
4) Any sub model to be honest

Saw plenty of PM models though.

Really digging the new 116621 (YM brown dial everrose gold two tone).

I'll have to keep searching the next week and half.

Most AD's don't and won't have your first 3 so nothing unusual. Now no Subs at all is surprising.

You probably enjoy August of all months. Less tourists and people around

There doesn't seem to be an abundance of SS sport models anywhere over in SE Asia either if it makes you feel any better.

The story is the same over here in Australia. There's a Rolex shortage crisis out there! :)

Sorry to hear about that Ky. I'm hoping my luck is a little better when I go to Portugal next month or my lay over in Frankfurt.

Enjoy your time with your family!

You should come to Hong Kong - many TD's have 2-4 and the prices are very competitive at AD's. Added to this the numbers of secondhand watch shops which means there are real bargains with the competition here

Well, it is the end of the summer, Rolex factories has been closed and most ADs haven't taken any deliveries in may weeks, if not months at this point. If you go to the main European cities, ss Subs and GMTs are very often sold out due to tourists taking advantage of the tax free.

Daytona Ceramic - forget about it! :-)

A few months back I did not have an issue finding a BLNR/Hulk/SUB ND/almost any sports model except daytona ceramic in the bay area.

Everything available all over here (except for the obvious - 116500).

It makes me sad to think of my TRF brethren out there in other parts of the world being cut off from the Rolex supply.

Was in for a surprise today.

Decided to stroll the streets of Champs-Elysees. Saw a Sub date and Sea-Dweller on window display at Dubail. Decided to walk in and check to see if they had any special edition Panerais and Rolexes. Told sales lady about my mistake of selling the BLNR and Hulk awhile back. She responded with "we have those," wink wink.

She went to the back and brought out the BLNR and I told her SOLD within minutes of looking over it. Also asked for a ceramic daytona, NOPE.

This post serves as an FYI if anyone will be in Paris and looking for Sea-Dweller, Sub Date, Hulk and BLNR.

I honestly don't get some. Other locations. Here in Houston most shops are pretty well stocked (subs, BLNR, DSsd). Is it really the rough in other areas?

Yes, Australia receives very few SS sports models with a wait for pretty much all of them

I have a white dial SS Daytona on order here in Chicagoland, but will be, coincidentally enough, in Paris next week. I don't expect to spend our time hunting unicorn watches, but if someone local happens to see a SS Daytona there, please PM me.

I will NOT hold my breath...

Don't worry on my part. Plenty of other brands out there to strain my bank balance.
