If LNIB, then a bargain, but re-sale on these units are quite weak.
Not for investment, but for passion. Personally, I'm not a fan of the ROO. Are you? |

hi Lee,
thanks for the input, would it be possible for you to take an educated guess what the maximum discount new would have been given your experience, i kinda know the Rolex market inside out but am a bit out of my depth with regard AP pricing and depreciation. I do love the ROO and have always had the saying "Pleasure Costs" but buying pre-owned at face value on this occasion would seem to make it so much sweeter its usually me who takes the hit! regards steve |

Steve,
Here in SE Asia, discounts between 20% to 30% can be had on AP ROO non-limited editions. For LE's, depending on the 'hotness' of the piece, around 3-5% is the norm. Going by anecdotal reports, in Europe, discounts of around 15% is about standard. Looks like a handsome piece though, although heavy weightwise. Best, Lee |

Thanks Lee!,
for your input on my threads can't see me holding out till my next KL visit but would genuinely enjoy meeting for a beer if time allows yourself. thought it might make it easier to actually visit an AD but it didn't he showed me the VC overeas Chrono as an alternative possibility just to mix things up. All my options seem to be at the same pricepoint so i guess its time for the heart to rule the head best steve |

There really isn't an alternative to the ROO if the bug bites you. I can see the attraction due to the bold and aggressive styling, even if it isn't my own cuppa
For what it's worth, if it's me deciding on a watch, there would be no alternatives, just that one to hunt down. The VC Overseas Chrono is cool too, with a common DNA in the hand of Gerald Genta. Let me know next time you're heading to KL. Cheers mate, Lee |
