Daytona Stainless
My Rolex Daytona is a 2000 white face/stainless steel. I don't wear it much, because I have a hard time reading the time on the white face w/o my glasses on. Wear my two Submariners mostly. I'm thinking of selling the watch (which is in like new condition). Advice on how much to sell the watch for?
Thanks |

Browse thru the Sale sub-forum of a few forums and you should be able to fix a price. Good luck.

Maxwell - only 1 post since Dec 2007?
2000 circa Daytona is a Zenith movt. If in great condition this should bring more money than the 4130 SS Daytona...FYI. |

Zenith movements were made by Zenith and 'de-tuned' by Rolex to 28,800vph and modified to their own specifications.
They stopped using Zenith movements in 2002?? when the 116520 series was released with the new Rolex 4130 movement. |

The cal. 4030 is a modified Zenith El-Primero movement and is no longer used in Rolex watches (used from 1991 until 1999/2000).. The Cal 4130 (since March of 2000) is an in-house, built from the ground up Rolex patented product. The In-house movement (4130) is regarded as one of the best made chronograph movements ever and is the better of the two. (yes, yes, some will argue...but it is futile) The Zenith (4030) is discontinued so it has found favor with collectors driving the cost up..
