Icon16 5204r

I recently saw the 5204R at an AD, although I didn't get a chance to try it on the wrist due to time constraints.

What are your thoughts on this watch? I have tried on the 5204P white and black dials before and although the RG looks nice on the 5270, it didn't seem as warm on the 5204. Maybe it is something to get used to as the 5204R is such a new watch.

Here is a stock photo from the Patek website. When I saw the watch in person behind the glass display it didn't stand out as much as the stock photo.

I tried one on last moth but just don't like the piston pushers. A personal preference.

+1 and in second the P white dial, and the R last, though it is still an awesome watch but I feel P is better suited for this design

Agree, I've had an AP and PP in the gold, white and brown combo, but I got a little bored of them after a while, I think black dials are more dynamic and sporty while these are more classical and dressy.

I prefer the the 5204P black dial. The sporty lumiscent hour markers consort better with black dial and white metal imho. But I'm biased...

I agree that the 5204P black dial is quite a stunning watch. The 5370P with the enamel dial is also quite beautiful. The luminescent hands certainly enhances the legibility and adds to the sporty look.

My thoughts are that at the split second chrono level, platinum is the metal of choice, unless someone has a strong preference for RG.

Love my black dial. Tried on the R and was quite surprised how nice it was in person. Can't go wrong with the 5204! My favorite current production Patek.

Indeed the 5370P is stunning as well.
I wish it would wear a little bit smaller...
