Where to buy my first rolex for traveler
Hi, im going to travel US next week and i want to buy a new rolex watch but it needs to be in store. I will go to New York, Washington DC, Las vegas and Los Angeles. Can anyone suggest a place with good price please? I really appreciate all the answers. Also can i ask for discount for new rolex in store or just discount for preowned watch? Thank you

Speaking only for Los Angeles, there are many Rolex ADs in the area, just do a quick internet search for Rolex Los Angeles. You shouldn't expect much (if any) in terms of discounts at these places though.
If you are looking for pre-owned you should visit the diamond district in downtown Los Angeles. You have to do far more research on the watch, as it is a grey market. You'll be able to negotiate prices far easier at these places. I got my 14060 Sub at 20% off after talking with the owner a few times over various trips to the store. You can also hit 10-15 shops in just a few blocks. Here are some places to try, in no particular order: 1. Ramerica Fine Jewelry 2. Hill Street Watch Company 3. Karkour Fine Jewelry The most well known places in LA for pre-owned would be Wanna Buy A Watch, Second Time Around, and Feldmar Watch Company. Each are located in or near Beverly Hills. I have not tried to actually purchase anything from those locations, so I cannot comment on the price discounts available, but they do have a big selection to browse from, which I have done in person several times. |

Rolex.com has a section with AD's anywhere you might end up in the States. I went to South Coast Plaza for my Daytona (south of Los Angeles near Disneyland). I had my choice between white and black 116520's still in their coffins, no waitlist, no hassle two years ago. Happy Hunting!

I don't know where're you from but can't find any reason to buy Rolex in US.
The price at AD is the same as anywhere in the world, almost no discounts as anywhere. But traveling in Europe you can at least get most of the VAT back, not so in US. |
