I'm biased because I do not like NATO straps in any shape, colour or material. To each his own but for me it has to be OEM bracelet or strap.

However, I have seen some Rolex divers look pretty cool on a RubberB

I like both for different reasons. When my Rolex divers are going to work, they are ALWAYS on a NATO.

I guess this one is on a NATO all the time since it has welded bars

I don't like leather, rubber, Nato or anything other than the bracelet it came with originally.

a Rolex belongs on its bracelet. Nothing more iconic than an oyster bracelet.

Bracelet 100 times over. Can't stand the little extra strap flipped over in nato, yuck.

I usually keep my sub on a rubber strap....works well for underwater activities and very comfortable to wear when out of the water. Leather also looks great for casual wear.

+2 for rubber. Whether it be a tropic, a Hirsch performance (leather/rubber hybrid,) Benetto Cinturini, or an Everest, I always come back to rubber.

If the NATO was black I might like it but almost always prefer Oyster over anything else.

Agreed!! Bracelet only for me! I don't like watches with any type of strap.

I think we often forget around here that Rolex themselves used to offer a rubber strap option in lieu of the bracelet. I believe they stopped in the late 90s.

Either way, I don't see changing a watch's bracelet/strap as being much different than deciding on a different set of tires. A bunch of guys much cooler than me have no problem with it.

I'm new to the NATO strap and am loving it on the SD. Much more subtle and casual look. Not so much on the Pepsi GMT (tough to get colors to match). For that, I like mixing it up between the oyster or jubilee bracelet. Can't do a NATO on TT watch.

I like NATO straps a lot...they are comfortable and give the watch a rugged utilitarian look.
