Guys, why is it US pricing are more? for example are the following
5711 is 21,900 CHF = $22,588 USD but its being sold here for $24,800.
5205R is 42,300 CHF = 43,628 but its being sold here for $47,970.
Is US retail price really different? or they should follow universal pricing set by Patek?

CHF and USD is at parity now but it wasn't that long ago where CHF was 50% higher than USD. I expect current US prices to hold because of currency volatility. It'll be worse for Patek to lower US prices and all of sudden CHF to rise against the dollar agin.

Cheaper to fly to Switzerland and buy one than to pay retail in the US. Do these prices include the VAT that would be refundable to someone outside the EU?

After I factor in first class ticket, hotel, my time, I lose money. But nice vacation

Easier to get 20% in US and have it tomorrow.

Prices may be cheaper than the US when you take into account the VAT however not sure how easy it is to get the more sought after pieces.

Thank you for clarification, it makes me think now to wait and just buy in CH. At the same time its far better experience to buy from the salon than AD.

Thanks so much for the price list!

Excuse my ignorance the 5711A Nautilus is $22571.27 USD? Or are Patek prices higher in the US than in Switzerland?

The problem is the Salon won't have any of the watches you want for sale. You place an order and wait.

Maybe it got lost in translation and thought you asked about service times.

First post here for me but the "rules" at the salons (at least the one I know i.e. Paris and Geneva) for high demand pieces like 5711 are :

- non local customer, 4 years waiting list
- local customer, 2 years waiting list
- already a salons customer, 1 year

Don't know if it's 100% true, but I had the same version of the story both in Paris and Geneva. For 5712/1a delays are quicker but same rules applied.
