Oysterflex on a SubC
Has anyone had any experience fitting the Oysterflex rubber bracelet onto a SubC?
Any first hand experience (and especially pictures) would be most appreciated as I've read some conflicting reports on different forums. Want to see if I'm wasting my time before trying to get one on order etc. Thanks in advance!! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

I myself was also interested in fitting an oysterflex to my SubC. But ultimately decided not to go through with it, due the prohibitive costs. I did however come across this video, that should give you a good perspective of what it would look like. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZqAY2hMn3Vg

That's awesome and super helpful! The gap might bother me a little bit with how much the part must cost. Other than the price $500+ for the strap, what turned you away? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

The only thing that stopped me from going through with it, was the exorbitant cost. I couldn't justify spending double the amount of what a rubberb costs, for a very similar product. But each to their own. |

if you are paying almost 300 for non-rolex parts..
why not pay 500 to use rubber OEM ? i have this thing im only comfortable using OEM. To each their own.. |

For a lot of people the look of the oyster flex on a Submariner would just not look right as the maxi case will exaggerate the gap. |

I think Rubberb model VulChromatic Black-orange is the best rubber strap ever made by men and should be put in a capsule and sent to space so other civilizations can contemplate it. Still... its not OEM.. and i dont feel comfortable. I may even use it ! But wouldnt it be better to have a curved end oysterflex? Maybe some Basel will bring it to us. Until now there is none. So if the gap doesnt please you, you have more than enough reason. |

I have a feeling that the oysterflex will remain probably untouched but I tell you if it does change I will grab one right beside you!! 2017 is right around the corner |

Totally agree, that gap is probably my biggest concern, but I also strongly prefer a Rolex OEM part. If I do go through with it or get my hands on one I'll definitely take pictures and measurements to help others decide! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
