Tudor
Hello - New to the forum. Attached are images of my vintage Tudor; manufactured in 1980. I believe the watch originally had a sapphire crystal - after servicing, it now has a acrylic crystal. The acrylic service crystal is really nothing like the configuration of the original and looks more or less like a top hat.
I'm sort of the mind to have the watch look as original as possible. Just curious what most do when they have a service crystal - replace it back with a new (aftermarket) sapphire or just stick with it? Btw, the first image is the watch with original crystal and the following two have the acrylic. Thanks for viewing! |
