Quite a run of luck....all bad

In a span of 7 days starting the Tuesday before Thanksgiving.
In order:
Tuesday - Colonoscopy
Wednesday - In-laws show up for a 7 day visit (so far that's 3 pains in my a$$)
Friday - water pump breaks in car...towed to my mechanic....2K later.
Monday - break a molar eating popcorn.

There you have it. So when you're having a bad day, or few days....just remind yourself your not me!!!!!!!!!

I know what you mean. My wife was diagnosed with a stage 1 cancer and my dad with congestive heart failure the same week in July. (Both responded to treatment are doing well now).

You need to get that molar fixed, tooth pain is a killer.

It could be alot worse. Little bumps in the road. My wife was 36 and our kids were 1 and 3 when they found a form of pancreatic cancer, this was 4 years ago. Our world was upside down, but we reminded ourselves that it still could be worse. Life is all about putting things in perspective. Most problems can be fixed with a little money and patience. Health issues seem to be the challenge. Hold your chin up high and be happy that your car now is good to go and your tooth will get fixed or replaced.

What's the old saying .... Bad things happen in threes. So if there's a fourth, it's the start of the next three. Hopefully, you won't be experiencing such thing. Go and buy a lottery ticket. Things may turnaround in a big way!

1999/2000 my wife survived a rare blood infection. 2014 my wife has both knees replaced and I have 3 tumors cut out of my head. 2015 we both get diagnosed with cancer within a 30 day span and we both have major surgery. 2016 I have a series of heart attacks and have a quadruple bypass. I think we are done as all that's left are our teeth!!

Best stay away from Chris's popcorn or you won't have those either.

Sorry to hear all of that! I've experienced some of those issues (or similar) so get where you're coming from. Years ago when I drove an E36 BMW 3 Series the water pump failed, causing the fan to be off balance and pretty much explode.

One time I was flossing and a filling fell out! Oh my goodness was that painful but thankfully after an emergency visit to my dentist it was fixed.

Also, this January I suddenly got REALLY sick and was in the hospital for several days. I somehow had viral meningitis and it was one of the worst, most painful experiences. Lots a lot of weight and took months to fully recover. Also, the lumbar puncture they did gave me a lot of issues after. This all put things into perspective for me and over all I'm much more thankful for things myself and many others took for granted on a daily basis.

I usually complain about being short fat and ugly but being healthy that really doesn't warrant a complaint. I'll say a prayer for all of you with health challenges and hope you are 100% in no time!
