Matt (BigHat) has one of those watches and I had one. I sold mine but really liked it. It is one rugged watch and you just never know when you will end up on the bottom of the ocean.

Concrete overshoes of course.

There are quite a few Hydro watches. They're all quartz (presumably due to the oil being too much resistance for automatic). They have pretty daunting service intervals/upkeep - especially considering they're quartz.

They do pretty much kill everything else in terms of usability underwater. Not only can they survive any depth on earth, the liquid inside the crystal makes the face readable at any angle underwater.

I actually liked the old Sinn that predated the UX much better, but they're out of production and hard to find.
