Question on strap for ROO 44 SS
I have a ROO 44 SS, I was also given an AP Bands black horn back with red stitching. I have two questions, first what size is the tang buckle that comes on the 44 is it the same as the diver? Second question, what are your thoughts on putting a horn back with red stitching on this watch. Not sure if it is "too much". Watch already has a lot of wrist presents, and don't want to go overboard with look at my watch. Thank you in advance.

Measured mine just now, around 28mm. Red stitching would work, maybe white as well. On the magnificent 44s I really would get an OEM croco or GP strap, they are costly but worth it. Sell the AP Bands on ebay to help.

Another vote for OEM and not the AP bands. For what it's worth, I had the 44ss and also had the GP strap. I personally think the rubber still looks the best on the 44ss. On the 44FC, the GP strap wins for sure.

Slightly off topic but I am heading to APNYC later today for a new rubber strap and maybe something else. Anyone know ballpark pricing on the grand prix strap?

GP strap was around £300 I seem to remember. Croco/gator is $800 if you need custom stitching.
