No, I believe a UK poster on another thread said the MSRP over there was 8k-ish...but I'm no expert on such things, believe me.

This. And the current exchange rate makes it hard to compare UK to USD if looking at the history of pricing at the moment.

Indeed the falling pound have attracted world shoppers this summer to England, sweeping up luxury items like Rolex watches.
The prices were fantastic, have caused a storm in the Hong Kong watch forums, members were flying to UK shopping.
