My next PP help

I am having a difficult time picking my next time piece. I am looking for a daily wear like my 15300 with non calendar complications except date around the 30k range. Also need to have decent water resistance for swimming or water activities (missing in my AP)

I tried on a 5711 with white dial at local dealer. Really liked the fit with slim case. My AP is white dialed so wanted the blue dial. I recently lost an opportunity to buy a blue dialed 5711 at retail ($25k) and refuse to pay mark up prices.

Looking at the PP catalog, the Aquanaut caught my eye a watch I never really considered. It seems practical, durable and the rubber strap is unique in the PP line plus same movement as the 5711. I have had other rubber strap watches and have been quite comfortable. The aquanaut seems to be overlooked often over the Nautilus.

Within budget I can get the 5167R with gold case and clasp or the 5164 steel world time that can be useful during travels. Though the left pushers on 5164 seems out of place. The steel can fly under the radar, which I am looking for, not sure on the RG.

The aqua seems more 'sporty' over the nautilus and I find myself in formal/business settings more often than causal. Looking at pictures seems both can be pulled off with a suit. These models also seem to be only ones with 120m water resistance.

I can order a blue 5711 my AD projects 3-6 month wait and do not want to wait that long.

Sharing my thoughts, still undecided. Ill include a poll as well.

I have the 5711 and 5164. I'd choose 5711 without a doubt

Funny now that I see all 3 together the 5711 looks better, then the 5167 R. I'll call a few dealers see any would have one, otherwise I'll plan to order and wait.

Amy reason 5167 in steel is out? That's be my choice since the rubber is so different, though the AP being white the 5711 in blue isn't a bad option either. Personally I can't get into RG

For daily wear 5711, I do love the 5167R though.

For sure the 5711 as the blue dial seals the deal. Add the value retention and it's perfect!

For a daily the best for me is on bracelet, so 5711, though having the 5167R it is a good contender as well...

My thoughts are if I were to consider the Aquanaut it should be something interesting like the world time or RG over the base steel.

5711 blue all day long. And you could always flip it for a profit if you needed to.

5711 blue is like money in the bank.

I wonder if that hype is going to fade out. Current prices from resellers are crazy 5711 Pricing

Landslide - I had to wait 6 months for mine. That had been torture / now eclipsed by Rolex 116500 wait
