Vegas- something different?
Hi all
For my sins I'll be going to Vegas next September for the 8th time for 5 days. It's always quite a trip for me as it involves a 5 hour drive to London, overnight stay then an 11 hour flight. Guess I love the place so much! Anyway I think I know it pretty well and I've seen so many things there from just about every show to the Mayweather/Hatton fight. Just about every bar and club to Grand Canyon. I've been there solo, with my wife, with a few mates and in a stag group of 30, so experienced different things. Normally stay at the Wynn, I gamble, drink, enjoy fine dining as well as the Rolex shops Anything different I might not have come across? I've got 9 months before I go but any suggestions most welcome. |

quite the journey... you've pretty much got it all covered based on your exp.
but, if you want to end on a high note, you can always work on other things that can take 9 months to plan for while there. have a good trip. |

For folks coming from overseas 1st world countries that don't have mandatory conscription, I typically recommend they hit up one the shooting ranges across I-15 from the Strip for some target practice.
Or rent a supercar for a few hours, and try to avoid getting pulled over for speeding by the local authorities. Doubt there are any driving experiences happening in the summer months, but you should research if there are any experiences scheduled at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway while you're in town. These experiences let you drive an exotic or muscle or modified NASCAR around the track at reasonably high speeds. I did a modified Indy car driving experience about 8 years ago when they were still offered there, and it was loads of fun getting up to 170mph in the straightaways.

Wynn is the best hotel. But try eating at the Prime at Bellagio, imo better than any other steakhouse in Nevada and California.
As someone mentioned earlier, shooting range and exotic cars!

Not just any shooting range, but one that has fully automatic weapons. A fully auto HK MP5 is very fun!
