Quick Question about Rolex warranty ?
If I buy a New 2016 watch from a member on this Rolex forum does the 5 years warranty apply to the watch? or is that consider a gray market ? Just not sure how it works.

The manufacturer warranty follows the watch. Enjoy!

Yes, as long as it was bought from an AD, their stamp should be on the warranty card and the date.

As long as the warranty card has an AD name printed on it, the watch will covered by warranty. It matters not the purchaser name on the card.
With that said, don't send it in to NYC RSC, unless you have the original receipt for when the watch was purchased. For some reason they require it. NYC Will make you jump through many unnecessary hoops. Dallas RSC on the other hand is very easy to work with.

If the watch did not come with an original valid warranty, it doesn't matter what the card looks like. Sometimes you do not know that the warranty is not valid until you try to use it. The good news is that warranty work is seldom needed on a Rolex, and, if you got a good deal, anything can be fixed with a service charge. ![]()

The warranty goes with the watch....you just need the card as reference
