What the model number of SMP Black is so long?
It is 212.30.41.20.01.001, while other models are 8-digit only.
Just curious, anyone knows why the model number is so long? ^^ |

I thought that they recently redid some of their model numbers for their various watch lines. I know that the Hour Vision model numbers are also long.

Yes, Omega is using ridiculously long model numbers for the new models being introduced. Supposedly, the long numbers enable full coding of model variations down to case, dial, movement, strap, etc.
