There're lots of Marina Militares out there, some made in Japan, some China and God knows where. I wouldn't buy one. The question on whether this should be called a fake/replica or homage is a difficult one to answer. I'm not even sure if they use the ETA/Unitas movements that a genuine Panerai would have or if they fake the movements as well.

Would it be worth the $100 to buy one to use for travel? I travel a lot with my job and sometimes to 3rd world countries that I wouldnt want to bring my 14060 or my seiko dive that was my dads from 1987.
