Saw the Beach Boys last night

I know that it is only 1 of the original members, Mike Love, along with Bruce Johnston who joined later.

The musicians who are touring with them were fantastic and really did justice to the original songs. The vocals were spot on. They played about 40 songs including everything you wanted hear.

I saw them about 2 years ago and was not too impressed. I thought maybe they had reached their expiration date. However this time, it was probably one of the best shows I have seen in a long time.

I used to go to the Beach Boy concerts in the 80's at Pilot Field in Buffalo. Always was a great show.

The first concert I went to was the Beach Boys. 1967, Hampton Beach (NH). Great band!

I go back to the early 70's with them. I have seen them in almost every incarnation. Always a great show.

I remember reading once that seeing The Beach Boys without a Wilson, is like surfing without waves. If you haven't already, go see Brian Wilson. His shows are fantastic.
