SOLD: Rolex Explorer I ref. 1016 Rail Dial w/ Box and Accessories

Offered for sale is a stunning example of the iconic ref. 1016 Rolex Explorer I (5.7M Serial #) with hacking feature in excellent condition complete with the original box and accessories.

Details:

Dial: The original matte dial is in excellent condition with a gorgeous and perfectly even cream patina and original matching hands. The dial and lume plots are 100% untouched. Any sorts of blemishes that may appear in the photos are tiny scratches or lint on the crystal and not on the actual dial.

Case: Stainless steel case remains thick with no major scratches or dents. Reference and serial numbers are clearly visible between the lugs. There is a light engraving on the outer case back.

Bracelet: The watch comes fitted with a 78360 oyster bracelet with 12 links and 580 end links in good condition showing light stretch.

Additional: The watch currently runs but service history is unknown. The watch comes with the original outer box, inner box, book, hang tag with serial number, and layaway payment receipts. The original owner misplaced the warranty certificate and mentioned that he would provide it to me if found (no guarantee it will surface) which I would be happy to pass to the buyer.

Asking $13,450 by wire (or check deposited to my bank account) shipped and insured within the US or face to face in the Los Angeles area. International shipping available at an additional cost.

Returns only accepted within 3 days of receipt if item is not as described and is returned in the same exact condition as it was originally sold. Refunds will be considered upon a full inspection and will amount to the purchase price minus shipping and handling costs. Buyer is responsible for the return postage, insurance, and safe delivery of the watch back to me. Due to the complexity of shipping to the US from abroad, all international sales are final.
