Is the 42mm ROC too small for me? should I upgrade to 44mm

Hi guys, my wrist is about 7.0 ~ 7.2 inches, however I am a short guy, only 5 ft 6 tall. Do you guys think the 44mm ROO will look too big and silly on me ? I feel that the ROC is a bit too small on my wrist.

No, maybe just the pic....didn't think this watch would look big on 7.2-7.4 in wrist.

19cm = 7.48” (19/2.54).
Whether your camera lens is adding some sort of perspective distortion or your wrist is thick rather than wide, the 42mm ROOC looks a bit too big.
You’ve also go it positioned too forward – try pulling it back up your arm a bit.

Take a profile shot looking down the length of your arm – that’ll show how the lugs sit in relation to the width of you arm at the point where the watch sits.

No, the 42mm is actually too big for you, you need a Royal Oak Chrono in my opinion, not an Offshore.

The 42mm looks good on you, not to small! For a proper advice we would like to get a wristshot of a 44 on your wrist.

Is this pic okay? Maybe its because my arm is relatively short?

I am using the iPhone, using its 28mm lens, I guess there will be some distortion, or measurement I got my wrist measurement wrong

Did you take the wrist measurement around the wrist bone, by any chance? That might explain the confusion. As an earlier poster suggested, maybe try wearing the watch further up your arm, past the wrist bone. Either way, your current watch looks anything but small on you. My wrist is 6" and I'd love to get away with a ROO but sadly they just looks absurd on me. Got to be a 15450 for me.

I think the 42 will look fine pushed back up your wrist. The 44 will wear a bit big, but with a ROO, the ultimate sports watch imho, better big than small I say.

I have 17,5cm or 6.9 inches, so if you really have 19cm it should be what you say, but did you measure like you need to, tight and at the right place? It looks big as well on the pic, don't look small at all, post pics with a 44 to see if you can try one

why do you have it right up on your hand? Push the watch up a bit, then take a picture.

IF you like it buy it. If I listened to what everyone else thought all of the time I'd never own anything.

Even that 42 still looks pretty big IMHO. I'd also recommend the 41mm ROC...FWIW, I'm a 7.1 inch wrist and thats definitely the best size (for me) aesthetically, however to each their own!

Not all wrists are identical — an important point to be taken into account when making suggestions.

William, that looks far better — now that you've positioned it where on your arms watch should be worn. You will now be able to try on a 44 and see for yourself if it looks spot on or not.
There's no real wrong choice, since it's all personal (and therefore totally subjective) — so if you prefer the slightly oversized look, then that's your choice, and to hell with whatever anyone else might think...assuming they even give your watch a second's thought at all.

another reason I am thinking of purchasing the 44mm is due to the fact that the 42mm does not have ceramic bezels, it's a scratch magnet
