Icon10 **INCOMING TOY - Last of the Year or First of 2017...Perfect Grocery Getter

So I get a text early this morning from my MB dealer. I told him I didn't need anything. He said 'yes you do and trust me I'll give it to you'--well those are dangerous words. Today is the LAST official day on the books for dealers--man I love this time of year!!

I really didn't need anything with R8 and Escalade, but decided to let Escalade go and replace with this one...be back soon with pics.

Nothing too exciting but a much more 'elegant' ride to haul those groceries

(Yes, I'm sick, I know....)

Na, no need for AMG, have R8.

This was just one of those too good a deal and works fine in replacement of SUV (well in my mind LOL)

Better pics tomorrow...sun was going down.

Congrats! That's a perfect cruiser. Look forward to your review. I've lost track of all your cars...I'll be sure to check back next week for another incoming. haha

Beautiful automobile! I always loved the MB coupe with that single open side expanse! Like an "eyebrow window".

That is the super-loaded version? Extra extra hand-stitched leather interior?

Can you post the interior MB new car smell?

It's a very nice car.

Yep, nearly as long as a standard cab/bed GMC Sierra. Same curb weight.
But 0-60mph in 4.5sec? ... The GMC 4.8L, not quite

Wow, MB heated armrests would be fantastic for Pennsylvania winters!

Beautiful car there, congrats Paul!!! How does the black/black do in the Texas heat? My S interior is black, and even in Buffalo it gets crazy hot in the summer. My next S will have the porcelain white interior, that's HOT.

My only gripe would've been to hold out for the Burm 3d sound.

Heated back seats too? Great for bringing a stack of pizzas to the Little League games!

December 27th 2015, I was one of the guys trying to get through the blizzard on I40 thru Texas

Pulled over for a spell. You'all have some fierce winds in that area!

TSP and the MN gov closed I-40 for a day and a night ... Amarillo Comfort Suites let me check in at 7:00am, eight hours early ... although the winds shut the water heaters off!

Every car I've owned has been black/black. Ceramic tint handles all of those issues without having to worry about getting white interior dirty. I hear you on 3D, but this won't be in stable for 90 days, so 'regular' Burmeister is pretty damn solid if you ask me.

Beautiful car. Congrats!

Wouldn't a better replacement gauge for you be the MB water in the console? When the bottle is empty, trade her in.

Thanks Steve. I think it will make a great quasi daily. Silent inside until you turn on Burmester and oh man that sound is amazing.

You know it's interesting, I thought that was a cool touch. They put a water and a cool SS coffee mug in it...sounds silly, but the small touches I do appreciate. Driving home I was like that was nice...
