Can't Decide Hulk, Batman, Deep Blue

I have a dilemma. Just before Christmas I was hunting down a Rolex. I went to my AD and they said they could order me any of the ones that I wanted and they would be here in 3-5 weeks. I just received the call today that all three are in. Now I am trying to decide on Hulk, Batman, or Deep Blue, or possibly Hulk and Batman (I need to decide by Friday). I had a black dial DeepSea and loved it, however after 2 trips to Rolex for repairs, I ended up returning it to where I purchased it.

Was in the same dilemma between Hulk & Batman....

Batman won as I wanted 3 time zones & I don't dive.

Sub LV and BLNR. Get them both, it'll be a perfect pair.

The issue I see is that you have already owned a Black Dial DSSD and loved it. I think that no matter which other one you get you will miss that one of a kind Heft and presence.

I've had all 3 at one point and the only one left in my collection is the D-Blue. It's my favorite modern rolex by far

I'd take the BLNR all day long. But I'm a bit biased in that regard.

BLNR.

I have the DSSD Blue and I enjoy it but TBH it just doesn't feel like a rolex to me, too big. It's very cool, don't get me wrong, but it has a very clunky feel that isn't in line with my vision of a luxury watch. Like a DSSD, a sub is a diving watch, but there is a subtlety in the design (namely its lower profile and classic look) that speaks to the buyer, more so than its practical use. The BLNR is a different tool, but my thoughts about the GMT's practical use align with my thoughts on the sub's. BLNR is the best looking watch, proportions and color, so that's my vote. As you can see, I have one, and I will never get sick of this one!

Did you go to the AD and try them all? And one didn't jump out at you?

Anyway, D-blue is an awesome piece if your wrist can take it.

LVc is so great, though. That's what I'd choose.

I own both, the Hulk and Deepblue, and if I had to give one up it would probably be the Hulk. That Deepblue is amazing.

Also, I was so convinced about BLNR and it was next on my list, until I saw it in person and I put it on my wrist, I was not super impressed.

I love my Hulk, don't get me wrong, I wouldn't sell or trade that thing for anything, but the Deepblue is at another level.

It is definitely a matter of personal taste, if you feel uncomfortable with a big and heavy watch, the Deepblue is definitely not for you.

I'm used to big watches so I can wear that thing for 2-3 weeks straight no problem. :)
