1530 parts in a 1570
Hi,
I'm hoping someone can help me, I have a 1570 cal movement in need of an escape wheel. I've found one for a 26 jewel 153 cal with part number 7841 would this fit the 1570? Thanks, Chris |

Nope, 1570`s main plate and balance is a little different from 1530. Part number 1570- 8051 is the one you´r looking for.

Ahh okay I see thanks, am I right in thinking the 1520 escape wheel with the part number 8051 should fit okay? I see a lot showing they fit the 1520 and with a mention of the 1570 but it's not always 100% clear.

You can try out 1520-8051 in a 1570, but I doubt it will work well in all 5 positions.

Okay that's great information thanks, managed to find the correct one now. Just got to find a nice set of rose gold hands for a 1601 now but I've only seen one set at around £600 after delivery which is defiantly too high for me.
