That is awesome pic. Fellow diver here as well. But i would let Suunto take care of the underwater excursions. Im too paranoid to bring my mechanical watch under such depth.

It's a dive watch! Its rating is 300m, mine is only 40m, well withing the watch's capability.

Fantastic! I hope to get a scuba certification this year, so I can do that - it seems so unfair to my dive watches not to take them out for a proper swim!!

Besides the coolness factor of wearing my dive watch, it comes in very handy for timing the surface interval. My dive computer goes into battery saver mode a few minutes after a dive. Takes a few seconds to re-activate and scroll to the correct screen. The SMP tells me the surface interval at a glance.
