Submariner 18k solid gold, real or fake? please help

Hey all found this one online, was looking for some input on authenticity? Engraving on band and all the stamps look legit, thanks for your help. Sorry I posted this in general discussion without finding this section first.

I would have guessed the same thing initially (two different watches), as the first pic shows an older style box behind the watch, whereas the following pics show a newer-style box set.

However, it is currently listed on eBay and it actually looks like the same piece (same defect on the bezel insert near the 15 mark).
A bit strange, but I am guessing the seller was photographing multiple pieces at the same time and had different watches/boxes out at once.

Yep, just the effect of angle/lighting. If you click the link above and look at the larger pics, you can see the bezel imperfection is consistent in all the photos.

Google image search and/or Tineye are definitely helpful in many cases. However, in this instance I simply did a quick scan of the current eBay listings for 16618s and it popped up right away.
