Panerai Becoming More Popular?

Out in Ibiza last week I noticed that there were more fake panerai watches on sale than there were Rolexe or Brietling I was wondering if this meant they are becoming more popular as you would expect the main fake to be Rolex not panerai surely. Also talking to the owner or manager type chap of one of the biggest bars there Bar M he had a Panerai which was nice to be able to compare watches although his was much better.

I work in the entertainment industry and PANERAI is THE hot watch right now. Rolex will always be one of the top brands, but Panerai is definitely gaining ground as a new brand...time will tell if it will remain a hot./top brand. I personally love Panerai!

Asia

Very popular here in Asia right now, to the point of being very faddish and a status symbol. Most of the models are usually sold out and long waiting list at ADs.

Was at a Shopping Mall the other day and saw around a half dozen Thais wearing Panerais. Probably the upscale brand I see most on Peoples wrist here, other than Rolex.
