Calibre 1520 AK running fast after overhaul

I just had my 5500 overhauled(full movement service, new mainspring..etc), and I've noticed that its running a bit fast. What could this be? Does it need to "break itself in?"

How fast is fast and is it consistent?

If it is consistent, then I would simply take it back to the watchmaker and

have him/her regulate the watch to slow down. It should be something he or

she could do as you wait. If the rates are inconsistent, then there is another

issue.

Perhaps a timing adjustment is needed? But if you just got it back I'd recommend tracking it for a week and seeing how much it's gaining everyday.
