Looking at these pics it seems that the gmt-iic looks as big as the dssd.

Thank you for that comparison, gives me an idea how it will wear on my wrist when mine comes out. I think I am going to have to go and try it on to make sure. The GMt is just right, but you never know till you try it.

A a work collegue of mine pick-up a DDSD last week and so I was lucky to have a good in the flesh look at it.................

It's a fine SOLID watch for sure and if you love BIG wtaches then you wont find any better........being a Rolex etc.

It did however make my GMT IIc seem like a small boy next to the DDSD or a not quite natural...........STEROIDS that was my takeway a great watch on that looked to be on Steroids compared to its peers.

Anyway, the taakeway is that it looked and felt awaesome
