Explorer 2 questions
I`ve bought a 2011 exp2 polar to mark a point in my life. When I look at it a couple of questions come to mind - anyone know how parts make up the 3187 movement? and why does Rolex not apply any AR coating to the sapphire crystal? Its a beautiful thing and will be my everyday watch but I`d like to understand it fully

Not sure I understand the first part of the question. Might be a word or two missing.

So sorry, first part is - how many separate components go together to assemble the complete Exp 2 3187 gmt movement not including the case. I like to imagine all the parts moving together in harmony, just like an engine `ticking` over and to know that information will increase my amazement and enjoyment of the micro machine. I don`t care if the number includes the screws or not, an approximate figure is good enough. I hope this is not a stupid question and apologise if it is or has been answered previously. I guess 90
