ROO 42mm vs 44mm?

Hey everyone.

As some of you already know, I just bought my first AP last week. Brand new 42mm ROO Black/Red from an AD in Singapore. Now my friend is asking me to trade my brand new watch with his 1 year old 44mm SS Novelty with whatever cash difference there is.

Should I trade the 42mm to the 44mm? or is the 42mm good enough?

thanks everyone.

Depend on your wrist size. And if you are comfortable wearing a large watch.

Good enough for what?

The only question that matters is which one do YOU like better.

I will never understand these threads, sorry.

Both good. Have you tried the 44 SS on?

For me with a 7" wrist it's 42mm only.

why don't you enjoy your 42mm for a while before thinking about trading. I am sure you brought your first AP because you liked it.

Like was said it's which one you prefer which matters, of course if you really prefer the 44, his watch is in very good shap, and the extra cash he wants is reasonable then sure why not, but if you got the 42 maybe it's because it's your favorite one, don't trade because some prefer the 44, I have the ceramic diver, love the new 44 ce diver but no way am I trading mine for it, love mine more as it is discontinued and not so easy to come by, also it sells if you are lucky to find it for almost retail.
So if for you the 44 is much nicer than the one you got trade, if not keep it

What's your motivation to consider this trade? I hope it's not because your friend is asking for it, is it?

Unless you have buyer's remorse and that you already hate the 42mm, I don't understand why you would want to trade only one week into it.

Do whatever YOU like. You're the one looking at it constantly. Personally though, I'm not much for the 42 and think the 44 steel is great...espcially when the light hits the dial at the right angle

Congrats on your recent acquisition. I have the same model as well . In my opinion, I would stick with your purchase. The reason is because it’s more versatile. You can change out the strap from leather to rubber or to a bracelet. With the 44mm, I don’t believe you can put it on a bracelet. Also don’t forget you have the FULL warranty coverage whereas your friend's 44mm would only have another year left unless he purchased it from a AP boutique.

I presume you are tempted and the size is alright for you, so I would as I prefer this 44, the dial, shape, pushers and ceramic bezel.

I will never trade a brand new watch for a preowned. Preowned + top up to Preowned is okie.
