Greetings from Maryland! And, potential next watch advice...
Hi everyone,
Finally got around to signing up here. I started collecting watches last year and currently have the following: Ball Ohio Engineer II Moonphase Orient Ray Seiko SKX007 (Modded) Eterna Airforce Chronograph (Valjoux 7750) and an old Pontiac Nageur that was issued to pilots in the Belgian airforce. I'll post pics when I get home, but in the meanwhile I just wanted to introduce myself. Also, out of curiosity, if you had ~$4,500 what watch would you buy? I'm looking for a new watch to add to my collection (and also to celebrate getting a new job haha). I've been debating saving for a new rolex (Probably a sub or GMT master), getting a vintage rolex (probably 1965 GMT master on a pepsi dial) or potentially an old speedy pro (105.012 66 CB though). I was also considering the Sinn 103 Ti UTC IFR but it's a hassle to get from Germany. I dunno, any thoughts? I really value watches that have a history and are unique/distinct in some way, and are in the 38-42mm size range :p. Cheers, Ashish |

Welcome! I think with $4500, it'll be hard to find a new Rolex sub or GMT, but definitely possible to get a speedy. I first got the speed because it's a more subtle watch and has more functionality, plus it was almost half the price of a sub.
