New to the Rolex world - Please help :)
Hi all,
Im about to buy a used Rolex. I've seen two which I like, one is the Oyster Perpetual Date 34mm with a white face and the other is a Oyster Perpetual Date Just 36mm with a white face. The 36mm cost an extra €750 over 34mm, would you say this is a fair amount and is it really worth the extra money? secondly, I'm of a slim build with skinny wrists which would you think sits the best? Any feed back would be great! Many thanks. |

Not sure what you are asking... Date Justs always cost more than Dates as they are more popular and initially sell for more.
Whether it is worth the extra price is up to you. Condition of the watch should be the highest priority.

34mm is for teens or women.
My wife wears 36mm. 40 too big, go 36-39. |

Probably 36mm but try it on and make the decision.

The 36mm DJ is perfect for me. I can't imagine wearing smaller though so the 34mm Date wouldn't be for me. I'd spend the extra money, but Datejusts can be had at all sorts of prices, so you might do better price wise.

Datejust 36 is definitely more popular. If you ever decide to flip it, the Datejust will be easier to sell!

I've owned a vintage 34mm no-date PM and enjoyed it for what it was....... 36mm is more popular. Michael Kors and Invicta sell 40mm+ watches all day long so most ppl think a 36mm is small. You should try them on definitely. A lot of older watches were much smaller than the Kors/Invicta sizes of today if that's what your going for..........

If the watches are in the same condition, I would pay that extra for the DJ, as I find 34mm too small
