Still Room for a SS Coke Release?

After seeing this morning's Baselword teaser

1. Turn-O-Graph: Rolex's instagram teaser seems to be the new DJ 41 Turn-O-Graph with calibre 3235. The seemingly, sloped, fluted bezel, and bezel markings sure look like it

2. SeaD Update: It seems difficult to see Rolex not updating this model for the anniversary, but stranger thinks have happened. The teaser from this morning looks like it has a bezel with a more severely sloped bezel than a SD has, but tough to tell

3. DJ41 SS: This year it seems to be as close to a sure thing as you can get from Rolex

4. TT Daytona: They were actually updated last year with new bezels along with the SS introductions, so it looks like these models will probably remain unchanged for the most part

5. Mystery Chronograph Rolex website: It sure looks like an Oyster model with no crown guards and screw down pushers. Perhaps a modern take on the Antimagnetic???

Anyway, what I'm thinking is that the SS Coke release may come a different year in what already seems like a packed release schedule.

What do other members think, would you be severely disappointed if the SS Coke doesn't come out this year and do you think Rolex may rather wait for a different year with a less packed release schedule (or what seems to be this year) after seeing this morning's teasers?

Anything in the above interest you as a 2017 buyer? Personally, it would be tough for me to turn down a new Turn-O-Graph or a new chronograph

Baselword, always an exciting time to be a Rolex/Tudor fan

A special anniversary SeaDweller would interest me depending on the look/colors

Bezel marks indicate it is a diver not GMT, but then as a Coke is so expected why telegraph it, this would be a good way to divert attention and then still release it to fanfare. However I still think it is a year or two away in SS.

Great point AK, a surprise Coke release (as much as Rolex can conceal) would certainly be a firestorm of publicity

None of this stuff interests me. If the SeaDweller gets a cyclops, I will probably end up getting a current 116600 one of these days and not get an updated SeaDweller.

What teaser has the fluted bezel? I cant seem to find this on their Instagram.

Although I wouldn't want to buy one I would be interested to see how the new ToG looks

I may be wrong and it may not be fluted. I edited the above to include a better explanation of why I think it's the fluted bezel i.e. the sharp slope of the bezel is consistent with the fluted bezels for the most part

Ah fair enough.

Although I would love to see a ToG, I think the current teasers suggest a new Sub or YM1 model and a completely new Rolex model.

However, I do still hope for a Black/Red GMT whether that be TT or SS.

Something about the focus on the DJ on Rolex's social media lately has me leaning towards ToG

Yes, I would still love to see a SS Coke as well. TT or yellow gold could be interesting with the warmth of the gold and red.

A potential YM update is a great point as well. I'd much rather see that than the alternative, a SD with Cyclops. The bezel engravings on the teaser I guess would have to be for a ToG, Rolex diver, or YM
