New Seadweller = New movement roll out?
As title suggests. With the new Sea dweller being released containing the new 3235 movement, is this now the way forward for other sports models like Submariner and GMT? If so when would be a reasonable for Rolex to start a changeover (if at all)

They will likely use the new movement each time they introduce a new model. That's typically how it's done.

This is the most compelling thing of the new piece, 70 hour power reserve. I think I'll like the 43mm but want to see if it got thicker too, haven't seen anything about height measurement. DSSD at 44mm was fine for my wrist but I thought it sat way too tall.

Yes...will be much more exciting when it gets into a 40mm watch.
Maybe the Sea Dweller returns in a normal size next year brandishing this movement. ![]() |
