116610LV worth the wait!
I started a which Rolex to purchase thread back in 2015 before the birth of our second child. I was between the 116600 and 116610LV to add to my Speedmaster. To make things even more difficult the DJ41 was launched in two tone and I loved that one too. It's been a long two years of saving, researching, and prioritizing family matters, but the wait was worth it.
I chose the 116610LV. Green is my favorite color. I needed a dive watch more than a dress/sport watch with summers at the beach and pool and 2 kids under 4. The 116600 nearly swayed me, but I do love my speedmaster. I found it was the matte dial and clean lines of the dweller that reminded me of elements I already had in a watch I love. Thoughts of future value with the discontinuation for me are irrelevant as I am not planning on flipping. Two pictures attached showing the dramatic changes in colouring. |
