2 white dial watches in AP collection of 2 watches?

Hello folks!

I've been loving my somewhat recently acquired 15400ST with white dial. I'd be lying if I said I didn't often think about the blue and black dial versions. However, I have no regrets. The three dials are all so awesome for different reasons, sometimes I feel the only way to relieve the doubt is to own them all lol!

So movIng on, I'm considering adding an AP Diver and now I'm faced with the same decision. For some reason I'm very drawn to the white dial Diver, while I feel like the black dial is a little bit of a safer long term choice.

Considering this Diver would accompany my 15400st as my only two APs, would it make sense to own two white dial watches? I'm really not sure what to do.

Btw: part of the reason I like the white Diver too is that It'd only be a matter of time before a put it on a gray rubber strap, and IMO the gray would look a lot better with the white dial. I also think on a bracelet the white dial looks killer! Looks great on black too, but for some reason I prefer the look of the bracelet better on white.

Some pics :)

My AP 15400ST

I love white, especially AP's large white tapisserie dials. Go for the white Diver since you currently have black dials in your PAM and Rolex(es)

The white dial on the Diver irl is stunning, I've owned the black dial before but I think I'd get the white dial if I bought another.

I'd get the white Diver and switch to the magnificent blue 400.

You can't go wrong with either diver...So I say aim and fire! White dial is so solid.

Also, the "white" dial Diver vs the 15400 "white" you own - the dials will iMO appear much different in the metal.

Let it rip!

Since you have the white (silver) 15400 I'd switch it up with the diver and go black

If you like the white dial more on the diver then get the white one. I wouldn't get the black one if I didn't like it just to get a different color.

There is a cure! I might have to move to England just to get out of this flipping cycle. Brings new meaning to the term brexit

White +1 just because I've got one

My rationale : too many black dial arounds (Sub / GMT...) and with AP's iconic design white really pops!

Put on a white strap and it's killer!

Guess I will go against the grain here, I have several white dial AP's and recently bought a 15400OR in black dial along with a 15400ST in blue dial. While I loved having the white dials, having the different colors really provides more variety when it comes to a rotation and limits the need to flip (if such a thing exists). The blue boutique dial is BY FAR my favorite, I picked it up this week so no pics yet, but if you haven't seen it in person, it is truly wonderful. My vote goes towards a different dial color.

If that's what you like, why not. I prefer the black dial Diver but they are both awesome.

Go with your gut and buy what you like. If its white dial so be it. No rule that say you have to have different dial colors or different lines. Heck, I have two divers and both are black dial.

Haha that's awesome!! One 15703 and one 15710, or even cooler, the ceramic Diver?
