Advise on which audemars to get :)
I know this thread might be repititve but I would appreciate any advice from you guys. So I decided to buy my first AP, and I have a budget between 23-34, what I'm between pretty much is the new chrono panda blue dial stainless for 24k, the gold royal oak chromo with black leather strap 28k pre owned, or the gold royal oak chrono with blue dial and blue leather strap 35k. I like all of them actually but I was looking more of what's more exclusive and would hold its value more than the other :)

All three a solid choices, but if holding value is a high priority I'd buy a Rolex instead. If you're relaxed about losing a bit if you sell after a short time then stick with AP. I'm confused though as only one of the three matches your budget.

I saw the blue ss in person during previews and it's great looking. When buying an AP RO you should always go bracelet! ROO is a different story.

I'd go with the SS ROC. None will hold their value very well so you need a good price, but this will more than the RGs.

Limited edition will be your best bet for retaining value.
Otherwise, I would spring for the bracelet 15400OR/15202OR w blue dial is truly stunning in person.

It seems like everyone agreeing with the SS ROC, over any of the gold ones, I think I'll go for it then, do you guys have any guys that can source them for an amazing price compared to the boutique ? I'm located in south Florida by the way

SS ROC with the blue panda dial is my choice. I am biased because I got one.

I'd go ROC RG on a bracket over a SS ROC. But that would be out of your stated budget. Any ROC will depreciate. But the gold ones may hold value better depending on the price of gold. Because the price of gold will keep AP from changing the price too much unless it plunges.
But honestly if you want value retention from a steel AP, get a 15407 or a 15202. Same with the gold equivalents. |

Which part? Pretty sure any SS ROC just continues to go down from the 39mm to the 41mm.
Steel is nothing. It will just slowly go down over time as it gets older and older. It has no intrinsic value really. If you disagree with my 15202 statement, I won't even go into the facts on that one. That's probably the best holding RO short of some crazy limited one. That has been proven numerous times already. |

I would go with the bracelet. I absolutely love my blue dial 26300. Can't go wrong with a royal oak chrono on a bracelet

The RO bracelet is a work of art, so almost any piece with bracelet would make the win for me over a piece on strap, except if you want to add the bracelet later on
