Thank you Chris! C. Davidson !!!!!!

I am a new TRF member not even 1 month into my membership and have to say how amazed I am at the kindness and generosity this community!

A week or so ago, I posted looking for a bezel cover as somehow I got out of the AD without the one after the purchase of my new SS/ YG Yacht-Master. I guess these are rare to find by themselves as my thread didn't produce many leads and I also made several trips to local AD's looking for one to no avail. To say the least, I was very disappointed.

Out of the blue Chris (C. Davidson) PM'd me saying that he had located one for me and requested my address so that he could send it on. I was amazed to say the least. WOW!!!! Not only that, he would not allow me to even pay the shipping saying it was his "gift to me".

I just wanted to say a very public THANK YOU to Chris! It may not sound like a big deal to others, but to me it was huge! I wanted my watch and its box, papers, and accoutrements to be complete. And now it is due to Chris's generosity and kindness.

Chris, I know you had to go to some trouble locating one as I certainly did just looking for the elusive thing! Thank you for the gift!

My heartfelt and sincere appreciation!

Richard

It is acts of kindness like this that makes this forum and it's members so special. Actually, using the word members is not quite right. In most cases, I think the words friends and family are more appropriate.

When I took my watch in for a band adjustment, my sales gal noticed I still had the plastic bezel guard on. She popped it off and was about to toss it when I told her to put it in the pouch with the extra links.
Guess it was trivial to her. I'll have to step up her WIS training.
Glad to hear a member helped make your watch "whole" again. Kudos to Chris!

Chris that is amazing. I'm glad I joined this forum today.

But Bisquitlips, I didn't know that I should have had a plastic bezel cover when my wife gave me my ND Sub. Now I feel all inadequate as I thought I had everything stored away for the future. Thanks buddy!!!

Only kidding...I'll get over it. But I'm gonna give her a right talking to!!!

Heeheeheehee!!! LOL

Cheers
