Is the 16570 right for me?

Hello,
I am relatively new to this forum and watch collecting in general. First, a bit of background information. My interest for watches started when at the age of thirteen my mother gifted me a beauty (Panerai PAM590) and a curse; the perpetual desire to buy new watches. Currently I have a Rolex submariner as well as the above mentioned Panerai. Now onto my current dilemma, I wish to invest in both a watch as well as a new camera (Leica m240+50mm summarit), both of which will be bought used. For the watch, I am currently considering a
Rolex 16570 polar sold at 4600 at my local pre-owned dealer. The problem is that I don't have the funds to purchase both at the same time. Finally, are there any major downsides to either purchase?
Thanks
P.S. For those telling me to save for university, while I appreciate your opinion, my parents has funds laid aside for this purpose.

Sorry if I seem to be guilty of rambling a bit.

I'll go with Rolex and not Leica
for me the choice is easy as I'm not a huge fan of Leica
for me canon will do me just fine
but nothing will do me better than rolex
so that's my decision

Rolex - Canon
Leica - Patek.
I misread mother for girlfriend, and thought 13!
Then re-read the sentence correctly. Makes a big difference.
One has to assume you already have a decent camera, otherwise another Rolex would make 3 watches & no camera. So what camera do you currently use?
