Too numerous to list. Do you have a photo of a dial you suspect as refinished?

In general, get a photograph of an original unrestored dial of the same model and compare it to the suspect dial. Usually it'll become clear after comparing the details of the two.

No particular watch I am looking at. I just wanted to know some general things to look for.

The "tells" depend a lot on the reference and age. The "tells" for a Sub don't necessarily translate to a GMT etc.
