What would you get between these:111,104 or 090?

If you could have just one Panerai out of thoese 3?

-----------------------111--------------------------------------104----------------------------------------090----------------------

Ask yourself some questions.
Is this going to be your everyday watch? Would you want a date? Do you want to have to wind it everyday? What other watches do you have?

Personally for me, I think the 090 dial is too busy for a Panerai. I want my Panerai to be simple. To me that is what makes them so unique.

Also, look at the hand combos. The 104 and 090 pop, where the 111 blends in more. My fav based off my selection criteria is the 111. But if it was my only watch that I would wear most of the time, I'd pick the 104.

Only you can really decide. Hope I helped.

104 painted dial vs sandwich dial.
also white gold hands vs black.

90 is great too, but if you think the dial is too cluttered, then don't bother.

I would go for the 111. Simplicity at it's best.

Has display back, classic design, and hand wound movement.

As your one and only PAM, I'd pick the 111 for sure. Historic model, display case back, sandwich dial, etc. However, if its you daily wearer, the 104's automatic movement is a big convenience, if you don't want to manualy wind the movement every 2 days.

That said, I'd still pick the 111. It is the most iconic PAM out of the 3. Plus, if you want an contemporary auto movment PAM, then I'd look say the 90 (PR) or the 88 (GMT) would be the choice over 104, which to me is just a wannabe historic model with auto movement.

I like Historic models, like 111, 183, 210, 112, 292 or 005.
So yes, my choice is 111.

Man. I just went to my AD. There for 2 hours. Tried on the 111. The shiny case combined with the matte sandwich dial is INCREDIBLE. Much better than the painted dials I saw.

That watch is HOT!!!!!

I'm glad you like the sandwich on the 111. However, to some collectors, they seem to prefer painted dials are better on a Lums and sandwich dials are better on a Rads..

I personally have a 111 lum with painted dial, and a 183 rad with sandwich dial. I love the combo of both!!

Yeah, you are right. I've never seen on so as soon as I see a 0 or 5, I'd prob fall in love again.

I really wish I could see these two watches side by side with my own eyes.
