"Rolex Yacht-master Platinum "
It might be a smooth bezel DateJust, hard to tell from the poor pix. "Comes with original box or papers." Nice to know you have a choice.

Hi, I'm a new member here, I bought a SS/PL 40mm YM F serial yesterday for $5000, do you think is a good deal? Watch is in very good condition, come with every thing (box, paper...), checked by local jeweler, told is real.

zlin,
Obviously it's hard to tell without having the watch in my hand, and I'm not expert to boot. Looks like the date wheel does not line up centered in the window. It appears to be more towards the top, and should be centered. The bezel arrow mark doesn't look like it's lining up straight at the 12-oclock position. And the red-second hand appears to be a hair long. Now, please remember the angle of your pictures could explain some of the possible identifiers. Matt PS: And YES the price would really make me wonder!

Could you post a close up pic of the dial and bezel. The Platinum gives off a certain "look".

Thanks, Chris and chopperboy, I'll take some more pictures tomorrow; but the local jeweler is AD, my TT DJ and Explorer II were bought from them, checked it and said it is real. Assume it is real, how you think about price?

after a closer analysis I have noticed a couple of small inconsistencys in the dial config.
but that might be because of the dial maker-just have it checked by an authorised dealer-then you will know for certain.. |

Thank you for the help.
Can't really take better picture than previous. I can see the Rolex logo on the crystal (6 o'clock) in certain angle with magnifier. On my Explorer II band (back side, link next to end-link), there is 78790A, but there is nothing on this one.
