Ask about rolex watch

Hello, im a new user of blnr.. Just want to ask a lil bit about this watch.. Is there any problem if every time i want to wear this watch, i always rewind it, coz i dont have winding box, so it will stop if i dont wear it 2 or 3 days?
And i just realised that this watch will switch the date approx 00:07 am, not 00:00 precise..is that an issue?
And last question can I backwards the crown to set the time or date in this watch?

Hi, congrats on the BLNR! It will stop after about 2 days because of the power reserve limitation, that's not a problem.

Date change a bit after 12 is within normal I believe, though on most modern Rolex I have owned, it has been precisely at 12- so maybe somebody else can chime in.

You can not set the date backwards, but you can set the time backwards- though I just don't do that with my watches unless I'm going back a timezone or 2.

Your GMT does not have a quick set date so you change the date by advancing the hour hand 24hrs. Likewise you can set the date backwards with no harm to the movement. Same is true of the time - forwards or backwards is fine.

As for the date flip, it's just a function of when the watchmaker pressed on the minute hand. Usually you advance the movement until the date flips and then press on the hands to indicate midnight. I'd just leave it until the next service when the hands will be removed and reinstalled as part of the service.

^^^ kilyung is correct, I'd just add that you can wind an automatic as much as you'd like. There's a clutch mechanism to prevent you from inadvertently overwinding.

Cause my job doesnt suit me for using this watch.. Lol
So i just use it at the weekend..and rewind it everytime i want to wear it.. Just curious about the movement and crown issues

Not a problem.. You can set the date or the timeforward or backwards at any time of the day or night on your watch.

As to when the date actually changes, it almost never changes at precisely 00:00 as it is not a digital watch, it is mechanical and subject to considerable variance in manufacture and assembly. Usually a few minutes one way or the other is what to expect.

my BLNR changes date sometime after midnight. Not having tracked it down to the minute, I am not sure if it is exact timing for every change.
