Sea Dweller Anchor and Tool-Kit
Hi,
I have a question, what should come with an Z serial Sea Dweller, all I got was the White cardboard box, Green Rolex box, Plasitic Cert and Cert holder, Are you suppose to get the anchor and toolkit still? Pictures please if availble. /Masterkiller

The Z, as with the Ms, should definitely come with the link tool and dive chart in a separate green wallet from the one which contains the warranty card, etc. The anchor, however, has been discontinued since before the Zs.

If you didn't get it, go back to the AD and they will find one and they are supposed to give you that.

I've a M series Seadweller. It came without the anchor but I did get the wallet, dive chart, and tool kit with extra links. Suggest you go back to the AD and demand you get EVERYTHING you paid for! Good luck.

Hi All,
Thanks, I bought mine on the grey market, could someone please post a picture of the complete set, includine the link tool and dive chart in a separate green wallet from the one which contains the warranty card. Thanks all.... PS, I already have an Anchor and link tool, so, it really does not matter but you want to have what you paid for.

Z series with wallet, tool and Chart, but Paper (Punched) Warranty...is this very common (non credit card format for the Warranty)?

Slightly off subject, but I did not get the GMT brochure (not sure what you call it) with the picture of the pilot similar to the Sub one with the picture of the diver.
Should this have been in the box, which I got wrapped in bubblewrap since I had the watch shipped out of state and there was no need for the AD to open it. Didn't mean to highjack - just a similar thought on the topic of not getting what you are supposed to.

I'm surprised to hear someone paid $40 on ebay for the SD anchor.
A couple years ago I bought the SD anchor for $20 from a well known Rolex sponsor on this website. I bought a Z-series SD, and no, it didn't come with the anchor. I had a similar problem with the toolkit though. When I gave the AD my deposit, I asked about the toolkit. The AD said she knew nothing of it. I found that odd and called Rolex Canada and asked about it. The aftersales person at Rolex Canada confirmed that there should be a kit with the watch. I told them their AD said there wasn't one. He told me not to worry and he'd call my AD and straighten things out. 15 minutes later my AD is calling me being all appologetic about NOT KNOWING there was a toolkit. I found this odd again seeing as the saleslady I was dealiing with had been selling Rolex for years! I believe AD's are pilfering these toolkits from the SD's and like someone here mentioned, selling them on ebay or a secondary market for a few extra dollars. The place where I bought my SD anchor from was selling the toolkits also. In fact, this guy had sooooo many toolkits I couldn't fathom how many SD's out there are missing these sets! I think he was asking something like $75 for the set if I'm not mistaken. |
