My first real try at macro

I took into consideration the reverse lens technique to give my hand a try at macro. I eliminated the camera shake by using a rubber band to strap the reversed lens to the camera and set the timer. Let me know what you think. I think my next investment will be a decent macro lens.

Great stuff..

I've heard that when you buy a Rolex you need to spend a like amount on camera equipment to take pictures of it............

That's true isn't it...........

Thanks guys!! I used 2 x 18-55mm lenses. As for expense with all the lenses and the tripod I am still way below the cost of an LV. Canon rebel Xti with 2 x 18-55mm lenses and a 100-300mm telephoto lens. Can do lots of cool stuff with this setup. I am just really starting to explore the world of photography. I have a long way to go before I get to Jocke's level . His pics make me drool and are always pleasing to look at. I greatly appreciate the feedback and I'll do the best I can to get some more posted.
