PPP - Pelagos preference post!

Now that there are three Tudor pelagos references I am wondering...if you were given the choice of a free Tudor Pelagos which one would you take? Personally I have owned black and blue and now I have the opportunity to try the LHD and I will be picking that one up for a bit :). I am left handed so it makes even more sense to try my first LHD watch .

here are some of my thoughts on the 3 variants

Black - the most classic and the best choice if this is your daily watch. works with everything

Blue - the matte blue looks great and really brings something extra to the watch. a great summer watch and for blue lovers.

LHD - the vintage red/patina theme works and is reminiscent of the double red sea dweller 1665 and red submariner. It has significance for left handed owners. It is probably the most balanced of the three options.

Edit: Mod please add a poll I forgot and it won't let me now!

Absolutely love the blue - which makes sense considering it's my favourite colour. Now if only Rolex released a SS Submariner with a blue dial... which probably won't ever happen but one can always dream!

If given one for free, I think I'd take a LHD. I love the black, but the LHD adds a little flavor.

The blue looks great too, but a little too blue for my taste to wear daily. I would love to have a blue as a 2nd Pelagos, or if I already had like a Sub or another nice diver (ie. Black Bay Black) to wear daily.

LHD, even though I am right handed and would wear it on left. Who winds/sets a watch on the wrist anyway?

The 25600tb looked nice but appeared too large on my wrist, I left it. Then the remarkable 25600tnl appeared out of nowhere, it was a no brainer.

Yep. Also great for aquatic vacations (cruises, dive trips). The bracelet goes back on in September.

Since I already have a black diver (114060) I'd take a free blue Pelagos! Now, if it were to be my only watch I'd go black.

Without a doubt, LHD. The no-nonsense structure of pure tool watch utility is shared among all three, making that aspect a wash. However, the creamy markers and red "Pelagos" text impart a warmth and accessibility that I find highly compelling compared to the relative coldness of the Blue and Black. Don't get me wrong, if the LHD did not exist, I'd be happy with the Black (the blue is just too much blue for me, sorry, Bluesy fans). But the LHD just has a richer character that truly sets it apart and above. But then, I'm biased.

I was torn between the black and the blue but went for the black as it is a classic and goes well with anything......but I couldn't stop thinking about the blue as it is such a stunning matt dial.........so eventually I gave in and got it.............I was happy with both until I had a chance to get an LHD which was a no brainer and so I have all three in a rotation, the black is on the rubber strap for a different look and feel. If I had to choose between them the LHD would win by the smallest of margins as it is a perfect tool watch in all three variants. Going back to the original question, if a free one was on offer I'd go for the Black ETA or wait for Basel 18 in the hope of a new variant .........

I think the lhd brings a little spice to a flooded category (black dialed divers).
