RG Daytona VS YG Sub.

Hey all!

What would you pick out of a RG Daytona or a YG Sub (blue dial)

Recently bought a RG Daytona...but can not stop thinking about the YG Sub and blue dial.

I already have a Sub TT blue dial and love it. Just wish I could wear both at the same time.

I voted sub...but seeing as you have the TT, why not just save up and flip it for the all gold model. Then you've got both!

Strange poll on such different watches. I have had a YG Bluesy Sub. Given the choice today it would be the Daytona.

Definitely the yellow gold Sub. I'm not crazy about rose gold.

I would go YG Sub for sure,
In fact, I did!! And I have a Hulk too...

My favorite full bracelet PM Daytona is the 2016 Basel WG / Blue dial Daytona.
It is currently the ONLY non ceramic Daytona I want...
That would be a tougher pick especially considering you have the TT Sub.

I love the RG Daytona,...if i was to get a Bluesy I think I would have to get a NOS non ceramic one. It just looks better IMHO than the new one. I had one but had to let it go to satisfy another itch. I do miss it.

I would go with the Sub. I tried the RG Daytona but it didn't fit into my style as easily as the Sub did.

Both are amazing pieces. I owned both and prefer the YG Sub with sunburst blue dial slightly more. Recently sold my RG Daytona and still have the YG Sub.

I think the blue dial is a bit dressy for me and would only get worn for special occasions but if you can make it work as an every day watch - MORE POWER TO YOU!

I am a very very big fan of the Daytona, but between specifically the RG Daytona on a bracelet or YG SubC I'd actually go YG SubC. Not the biggest fan of full rose gold nor the non-ceramic bezel on the Daytona. SubC in YG with sunburst dial is awesome.

I found it very hard to choose - the daytona is more beautiful but the sub has more presence on the wrist.
I voted for the sub, I used to own a black 16618 that I loved and an 18k yachtmaster but I haven't owned an 18k daytona yet. I hope to put that right in the next year.

Rose gold isn't gold. It's copper.

Thanks for the feedback and awesome valid points.

For me the Daytona RG pros (imo)

Not as in your face as the sub
I find it more comfy on the wrist
Can put on a leather strap and its more dressy
The RG looks awesome

YG sub pros

Glide lock clasp
Cermaic bezel
That blue dial
Date function

Argh. Torn! My TT sub offers the above but cant stop think about a full gold one.

I do not want to flip the TT sub and own two PM watches. One PM is enough for me :)

For some reason to me, the RG Daytona looks like a ladies watch
